Smart Applications International Sustainability Plan stipulates, ‘…creation of sustainable technologies that achieve inclusion economically and socially’. Simplified technologies that target entire spectrum of gender and financial capabilities across the children, youth, adults, and elderly. We embed capabilities on both Smart Phones and Feature Phones. We have developed simple medical access technologies that are designed to be used with cross age personas without any discrimination.

Smart develops technologies that provide organizational change through provision of business performance visibility (Smart Business Intelligence) and Staff Productivity solutions. Arms of Care to the Vulnerable

Through the Smart Touch of Gold, our corporate social investment arm, we work with different hospitals to reach out to the neglected, the sick and children’s homes for support. Smart Touch of Gold has reinvested more than KES 5,000,000 to Children with Cancer Program at Kenyatta National Hospitals, Children Homes, and other initiatives with different partners.
School based Programs Smart actively supports school-based programs that achieve health awareness through knowledge transfer, coaching and supporting doctor student consultations. Such programs have been achieved in institutions such as SOS Primary School Buruburu amongst others.

Environmental Sustainability

Trees for Life

Smart has actively partnered with different industrial players in entrenching a green environment. Trees for Life in essence holds our environment as an optimum enabler of continuity. Smart has worked with Trees for Health and other players in planting trees across the country.

Smart Go Green Initiatives

Smart internally advocates for paperless work environment. We have reduced paper use in the office as we have automated most of the process. Being sensitive of the sources and preserving them. Our Medismart solution, being used in more than 10 countries in Africa, is heavily supported by a digital paperless ecosystem to alleviate thousands upon thousands of paperwork that negatively affects our environment.
